Scott designed multiple fan shape options and the Mariners choose to use a custom design that fit snugly into the seats without any fasteners so that the images stay in place even in the Seattle weather. Scott developed the templated and production protocols for importing the images, logos and text into custom settings to stream line the production of hundreds of cutouts each day throughout the season.
Rainier Display developed a custom web app where fans could easily upload an image of themselves, loved ones or even pets. The app showed each user a preview of the cutout prior to checkout and once submitted the file is submitted directly to the production team and within days – the fan image is delivered to the stadium for easy installation by team staff. All images are printed on a weather resistant and recyclable corrugated plastic sheet and cut to shape.
